What is an image organizer?+
An image organizer is software for keeping a large pile of images in one place and finding them again. Tenoa does this by creating a visual library on your computer.
What kind of images does Tenoa organize?+
Tenoa is a visual library for screenshots, PDFs, saved web pages, videos and images. It suits anyone with a large pile of files to refer back to who wants to find them later by meaning or by the words inside them.
Where are my images stored?+
Every save is stored in a normal folder on your own computer. The original file is saved with a markdown file beside it holding your personal notes. Any app on your computer can open the normal folder.
Can I search for text inside screenshots?+
Tenoa reads text inside screenshots and PDFs and indexes it. The search runs on your computer and finds words inside images. The search function also matches your files by their meaning.
Do I need AI to use Tenoa?+
Tenoa works as a visual library with no AI set up. Summaries and meaning-based search can be turned on using a local model on your computer. You can also use an outside AI service with your own API key.
How much does Tenoa cost?+
Tenoa costs $49 once for up to three of your own computers with one year of updates and hosted sync. After that an optional $29 a year covers hosted sync and new features. There is a 14-day free trial and if you stop paying everything you own keeps working.
